Problem moving objects using Entity BSP viewer

For some reason, the Entity BSP viewer (version 1.3.9) doesn't place objects on the map where they are in the viewer. I can relocate the object just fine, but when I twist it, it doesn't turn out right.

My theory is:

I can flip the object but that's it. Basically I tried to orient the containment gate where I needed it, saving after every movement, and it didn't end up the way I wanted it too. However, it is parallel to where it used to be linewise, but is now upside-down. so if it is a slanted line like this:

>
/
/
/
/

it now looks like this

/
/
/
/
<

if that makes sense. It appears that you can flip the object, but not change the angle at which it can move or twist it.

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Is entity knowingly flawed in this way? I need to be able to orient the object in any way that I need to, and being limited in this way I am sort of screwed.

EDIT: I managed to reach my gate, and for some reason there's a lump of invisible collision. I'm pretty sure it's not worth mentioning and is just a collision preventing people from getting killed under the gate if you're on, say...containment :-P

yeah when moving stuff in bsp viewer with entity you should place it opposite of how you want it
