animated bitmaps

ive looked everywhere for tutorials on animated bitmaps, found one, and it didn't work for me. here is the tut below. does anyone know how to, or know if this works?


Animated Halo 2 Skins


Programs Needed

DotHalo
Insolence

Common Sense Step 1.
Open The Map You Want To have animated Skins ,and Elongation In Insolence. (Im Using Turf and Elongation)

Step 2.
Go To the shader tag in elongation , and find the scenarios\shaders\multi\elongation\elongation_conveyor_pro Tag , Drag It into Your Map That You Want To Have Animated Skins so You Get the Movebox.

Step 3.
Now Close Insolence and Open Your Chosen Map in Dothalo.

Step 4.
Go To the bitm tag (bitmap) and find scenarios\bitmaps\multi\elongation\elongation_conv eyor , Extract that Bitmap and Skin It However You like,Then Re-Inject it using dothalo.

Step 5.
Now Go to the Shader Tag and Find scenarios\shaders\multi\elongation\elongation_conv eyor_pro , Copy The Meta Of That Tag.

Step 6.
Now Paste That Meta Over Any Other Senerio Shader's Meta, When You post over the other senerio shaders meta You make that shader and all the bitmaps in its dependencies animated. To Letcha Know ,you DO NOT have to use convayor_pro from elongation, you can use any animated shader from any map that has any, A map that has some is Terminal. Be Shure To resign the map

Have you tried injecting a animated picture into a bitm or would/did it freeze?

well for you, me and platty are working on the mod TOGETHER

as for Rockymods, yes, i tried the conveyer belt on elongation, but nothing happened. all i did was inject one bitmap as it said on the tut, and i still dont get how two bitmaps are animated if there is only one injected tho. what happened when i tried was the bitmap just stayed there, nothing happened

Find a animated shader like the conveyor belt on Collosus and swap the bitmap it uses to the one you want and apply that shader to whatever and BAM animated skins... But you can't put in animated GIFs but you can make things seem like they are moving like a Matrix type thing.
