I suppose those who use Entity know how you can save a weapon, block, etc. by doing the checked recursive, parsed, and sounds. Everyone usually uses it to save and build weapons betwen maps. Why not do it between people....

Say like doing a modded weapon, block, etc. download topic, so that if you would say want a nuclear bomb in coag, yet someone has made it, why not have them rar the saved files from Entity, upload and share those things throught the entie community, it would make it much easier than trying to explain to someone in words how to do it if they are, may i say visual learners (me, for instance). Some simple ones could be FuelRod Cannon, Pike, Jackal Shield, etc. Some pl just have trouble getting things to cooperate on their PCs, like the saving part, but it might be able to build correctly. :(

So could this actually come in handy and work?

PS. Did i explain that enough? :?

People have done it before, but if I remember correctly, its against Halomods rules because its considered "ripped content". I could be wrong though, but thats what I remember. The other problem is that the .info files that Entity saves actually saves the exact filepath of where you saved it. So, if you saved it at c://tags/weapontag.info, then whoever downloads it MUST put it in c://tags/. This is a true problem for people who created the info file on their desktop or my documents, because it saves their computer username (c://documents and settings/Elite747/desktop/weapontag.info) which can't be placed in the same folder on someone else's computer because it is user specific. This is also a problem between XP-Vista because Vista = C://users/Elite747 and XP = C://documents and settings/elite747.

on the ripped content, if the person posted it, thats giving permission to whomever downloads it (tagwise that is)

on the INFO tag, i just look at it, couldnt u just delete the extra crap in the path like the D:/stuff/rasterizer and just have /rasterizer?

I had a function in the newer H2G that I never released that would let you choose a tag

put a description author and a preview image(for projs and stuff) and it would put it all into 1 file and compress it

then you could send to other people and all they would have to do is use H2G and it would extract it

it worked pretty good
