Pelican rocket pod on warthog turret

I need some help for this, I know how to add the rocket pod and use it on the warthog so thats not the problem.

I need help with this, I need to know how to make the rocket pod turn all the way around and make it so the so it is attached to the warthog but in the same place where the turret is. I want it to have full movement and shoot the rockets out of it the same way, (that back and forth motion).

If anyone can help me with this it would be huge help.

change the hog turret dependacy in the hog hlmt to the rocket pod vehi, to make it spin try messing with the vehi values to make them the same as / simliar to the hog turret

I've tried the weapon hlmt swap and the model wouldn't turn.

I want the the rocket pod itself, not the aother part of the model. I think I can remove it the same way you romove the cab from the banshee but I need to know what number I need to make the root value


Is xzodia the only help around here

In order to make it move all the way around view wise my guess would be look into the vehi tag of the rocket pod. cause if i remember right there are values in there that restrict the sationary turrets to a certain look angle.

did you swap the hlmt or the dependacy IN the hlmt?

tried both, swapping the hlmt worked but it wouldn't turn and swapping just the model made the vehicle not function at all.

If I can edit some of the bone markers maybe I could make a custom model of the pod and have it work but I'm not real good with bones.

If anyone wants a pic as reference let me know.

try this:

1. add the attachment reflexive to the hog turret
2. change the dependacy of the new chunk to the rocket pod vehi
3. null the turret shaders
4. switch the turret weap to the rocket pod weap

I know how to add the rocket pod so stop telling me how to!

I need to knnow how to remove the root part of the model, there are 2 parts of the model, root and pod. I need to know how to remove the root part without modeling it because if I model it the rocket pod won't turn.

I think Theres a way to set the root bone extremely high off the model but I'm not sure if that will work

assuming you have the newest plugin from my site cahnge the value after w to 0 for the root bone

its already set that way.

maybe if I change it to 100 or something that may work. I think I'll try that.

sorry for complaining about how to add the pod.

I still need to edit the camera placement and make the model fully rotate.

EDIT: does anyone know how to make the pod turn all the way around, not just the aiming thing, but the make the whole pod turn around.

the vehicle is fixed and I tried setting the values the same to the hog, but the whole turret turns on the hog and not just the gun part. The pod only turns on the rocket pod and I need to know how to make that turn all around

the rocket pod has two bones, "root" & "pod." The pod turns but not the root, so I need to know how to make the pod bone turn all the way around like the warthog turret.
