Transferring custom weapons & replacing bipds

Could someone explain how to copy a custom weapon, like an M4 or uzi from one map into a different fresh map. Every time I try, the map stops working and it just bricks the map.

I would also like to know how to change the grunts on outskirts to be flood instead. I tried replacing all of the models and everything, but I couldn'd find the shaders i was supposed to change or something.

Could anyone explain both of these in step by step n00b-level tutorials? Basically I mean, dont say, now overwrite the model in darkmatter or something, instead say,(example: first open dothalo, click the weapon tag, and the weapon you want to replace, then copy the meta offset in the box above, and paste it over a different weapons meta offset to replace it)

31 views, and no replies, can anyone help me here? I'm trying to play on outskirts with flood and chainsaws and cooler human weapons. All i gotta do is copy these from a different map into outskirts, how do I do this.

U could just transfer the Biped of the flood to that map from recent Maps that have floods in it. but don't use entity, they MESS up the Bipeds SOOOOOOOO bad!! Try H2C, H2G, or Insolence.

To transfer bipd's in entity find the bipd you want and check Recrusive, Parsed, and Sounds then click save
Then open your map and make sure those boxes are still checked and then hit build and find the .info file from your bipd :wink:

Idk why everyone thinks the boxes still need to be checked, you can just hit build and it works fine.
