mainmenu music duration

im trying to get my own mainmenu music into the mainmenu, but, i can't get my song to have the correct length like the in-0-0.wma does. its 26.69 seconds, but i can't find out how to get my song to be that long, so the game just freezes at that part. it stinks. anyone know how to fix it? also, this is the right section, its halo 2 modding, iim modding the mainmenu, and its discussion.

....fool, this is not halo modding... Get any ol Audio convertor and convert ur song to the same format it is only set the length to 26 seconds, this is common sense and could have been found with a google search...

2. i have searched for audio converters, i need the exact ##.##, not just 26 seconds, it'll freeze, try that BEFORE YOU SAY IT

I believe Sound Forge by Sony should do the trick

As for the number, you can speed up the song and rerecord it in Numark Cue LE or jsut Numark Cue by changing the bsp while in key lock. You can also accomplish the same thing with the Numark CDN 88 CD Player which is hardware. Then just make it so fast it can fit. Or just cut out an exact length section of the song to the 26.69 second limit. I believe you could add to the video and then make it longer (if you make a new intro or are good at smooth transitions like that).

what im doing is cutting out (splitting the song) with all kinds of audio things, but it just goes to, like, .02 seconds off of what it is supposed to be

Then try to change the tempo ever so slightly so it will be under that time limit....

I believe sound forge 8 is only 20 bucks
Although i got mine for free with a rebate from fries

look around for demo links, cuz u can probably get the job done with just a trial
