bipd question

i have injected a grunt and replaced mastercheif with it so i can play as grunt but i cant pick up or use all weapons.. can anyone help me fix this?
*Insolence Tutorial*
Step 1
After you have successfully imported a Single Player bipd, such as a Heretic Elite, ODST, the Arbiter, etc.
Go to the [weap] tag and double-click whatever you want the bipd to pick up, such as a Flag, or Ball.
Step 2
Next, using the flag for example again, you would need to change the 1st [Weapon Type] from flag to pistol; change [Weapon Short Form] from f to pp, and the 2nd [Weapon Type] from [0.) Undefined] to [3.) Plasma Pistol]
