Halo help

How would i go about taking a halo 1 assault rifle a putting it in halo 2, and make it show up instead of the battle rifle

Is there a model and skin out there, im not to good at modeling, im practicing right now, but the mod im making needs to have a top of the line assault rifle model

ask ppl who got the assault rifle in halo 2 to give you a model and or put it in for you
just make shure you give them credit

-have the asault rifle show up instead of the carbine
-halo 1 pistol instead of the halo 2 one
-change the starting weapon on map default to the Asault rifle, and have it as a weapon on the map.
this would help me alot

A: You could just inject the Assault Rifle ingame then relink the model to the Carbine (through HLMT). Then edit the Carbines settings to be more like the assault rifle. Or you could add in a new weapon (As apposed to using an existing one you would duplicate a new one) and then relink it in scenario. I don't know if that last method would fix them from spawning through starting weapon though (Gametype specific).
Q: Halo 1 pistol instead of the halo 2 one.
A: Again you could swap the models and edit the weapon to be more like the halo 1 one. Or above suggestion. There is a proper halo 2 model of the halo 1 pistol in tombstone, btw.
Q: Change the starting weapon on map default to the Asault rifle, and have it as a weapon on the map.
A: I think the only 2 ways to do this is either use a new tag for the assault rifle and have all the needed edits to make it work. Then change the starting equipment reflexive in meta of the scenario to the Assault rifle. Also changing an existing weapon to the Assault rifle would work; just change the scenario to that weapon.

i didn't work uhh
i patched tombstone with the sppf, and resigned it but the map won't open in entity or dothalo
could someone help me with this problem????
