no collision damage when driver

when i changed the string id for grunts in mod im making for vehicles, i can't be killed in the vehicle unless the bullet hits me directly. and if i ram myself say with a warthog real hard against a wall, it doesnt hurt. it is like that. anyone know how to fix this?

gravity throne=ghost_d
warthog(driver)=ghost_d
warthog(passenger)=creep_p_l01
warthog(turrets)=turret_mp_something
wraith=creep_d
scorpion=creep_d
scorpion(seats)=creep_p_l01
spectre(driver)=creep_d
spectre(passengers)=creep_p_l01
spectre(turret)=turret_mp_something

i told u wat to do...sorta...
you need to change the seat protection string ids in the hlmt to match the ones in the vehi

it didn't work. i just copy the ghost's health/shields on the html and ovverwrite the warthog's health/shields, right?

umm..no...
make the stringIds in the hlmt match the stringIds in the vehi, ie make the same changes to the hlmt stringIds that you did to the vehi stringIds

so you mean to, with darkmatter since nothing else works, swap the string id's of all the stuff in the html of the health/shields to the one of the string id i changed? i shall try that after school, much more sense now!

enity only lets me use certain string id's in the meta editor, and if i right-click see string id's, i can't change them either.

you have to delete whats there then you can view all the stringids
