Black screen

i modded i map and resighned it and ftp it i load up halo 2 and the count down goes and the map loads and it just sits there in a black screen

You gotta tell us what you did to the map before anyone can help.

all i did was do projectile swaps on most of the weapons and then i switched the turrets on the wrath specter and warthog. i made it so u can run fast and jump high and the last thing i did was made the sentinal beam look like a rock and make it so i could fly it

The thing did to the sentinel beam sounds most likely to have caused the black screen.
When you say you made the sentential beam look like a rock and flyable. I assume you swapped the sentinel beams [hlmt] dependency to that of a rock and then swapped the banshee's gun for that on the sentinel bean.
Did I hit close to what you did?

Thing is that shouldnt have caused it.. Did you change your player spawns because if u added the a bad location then you will spawn in a black screen.. and you cannot move cannot shoot and cant do anything. So if that is the case change your spawn.

The reason it froze with the [hlmt] swap is cause there are way too connections between the hand held weapons [weap] tags and their [hlmt] so freezing may result from swapping the [hlmt] dependency.
Instead, try giving the rock [hlmt] to that of the banshee gun [weap]. It probably won't freeze if done that way...
