Sentiant Bomb

Sentiant Bomb

Im doing a massive mod to my halo 2 game. im quite new to the scene but i have a quite good understanding of modding. Anyway i'm reskinning every map, changing skies and weather and most importantly weapons. Anyway i had this idea for a weapon and i decided to call it the sentiant bomb. what it does is its like a grenade, but instead of exploding it bounces then will remain still for about a second and then when it detonates about 10 sentinel beams come out of it and they fire off in random directions. I know this waepon would kick ass but i do not have a clue on how to do it. I hope that some of you would share my enthusiasm and help me achieve making this awesom bomb. Cheers.

P.S. - I am aware i may be slightly in over my head but i realise that and do not need people posting replies abusing me. Cheers again

ummm well...

that will be very difficult..i doubt even turk could do it...

but for the detonation you could try...

spawning, shader nulled, autofire sentinal beams

dont know how you would go about getting rid of them though...

(you cant just spawn the proj cause then you lose the contrail)

Yes its possable. Model the gradned make it do a fan of 10 sentail beams and then set the fan so it dose randomly. it shouldnt be that hard

Oh please do elaborate on that one. Also, please explain to me what a "gradned" would be. Because, so far, I pretty sure nobody can mod gradneds. That and since when somebody able to make something "do" a fan?

Yes it's possible. Model the grenade. Then, make it do a spread of 10 Sentinel beams and then set the spread so it does so randomly. It shouldn't be that hard.

yeah it really shouldn't i mean the random thing should be easy to do and the sentinel beams and such, but the model would take some time, if u want a custom model from scratch, look me up, i am trying to get my halo 2 modeling skills up there. :D

Bad news, my xbox wont get an ip address so i cant ftp things to it, and then i was playing halo and i was using the prohet throne and when i fired the gravity gun the game crashed and now unleashX wont load.

i reinstalled the softmod and i now have EVOX but my ip address problem still stands. I will post again when i get my Xbrick working. Cheers
