I dont have a modded xbox cuz all i have is a 360, so i wanted to just ripp it off a cd, is there any way to do it via computer?

all you have to do is make an iso file and burn that to a dvd-r
but it wont work with 360

No im saying I have the disc but i dont actually have the maps and my 360 isnt hard modded, so where can i get all teh stuff from? stuff as in the files in the disc

second what it sounds like your trying to do is take a burned iso of modded maps on a "halo 2" disc and play it on the xbox 360 no burned dvd's will work on a non modded xbox 360 unless its modded. and these files what do u exactly mean?

Ok just forget about the xbox and ill rephrase

First: without a modded xbox it would be useless
Second: I think hotswapping might work (Don't know much about that myself...)
Third: why would you want to without a modded xbox...you cannot play the maps...
Fourth: forget about secound...(Needs to be hardmodded/softmodded to work...)
Fifth: I would say "No"... mainly because I dont think a regular dvd drive would even read the xbox format...
Sixth: Mod your 360 or buy an old xbox and mod it yourself or buy a premodded xbox...
Seventh: You NEED (Must Have) some type of modded xbox/xbox 360 to play any modded games/maps/etc...
Eighth: Could get a friend with a modded xbox to burn map files to a dvd...(Not Legal...)
Ninth: I'm done...

so ur saying a dvd with the maps on it couldnt be played as if a halo game just with diff maps? And I need to soft mod (which I can do) to play it, how come?

Without your X360's firmware changed, you won't be able to play it anyway. So, there's really no point in even doing it, unless you plan on flashing your firmware.
You need Xplorer360 to browse your DVD drive.
EDIT: You cannot play a game on any of the Xboxs without it being modded. For a 360, there are no soft or hard mods. There's just DVD HACKS.

my friend has and ive seen him, a modded custom burnt halo 2 disc, he played it on a 360, i have seen him do it.
