Heretic_grunt has messed up gun placements

take a look at this picture. that is definetly not how a heretic_grunt should hold his weapon! its completely underneath him! facing down! how could i fix this?

Change the string id's of the vechicles. Say you want them to use a warthog. Change the string id of the driver seat from "D-driver" to "G-driver". Something just like that.

let me guess, you did the hlmt swap of the elite? To fix it just to go the bipd tag of the elite and fix the hand string ids. Just get rid of the word elite in the string ids and that should fix it.

Completely unnecessary. He posted this topic because he needs help.
Like what was previously said, you need to do some [jmad] edits, and as for the vehicles, set the seats to be Ghost seats, that's an easy way to do it ( d_ghost, I believe ).

jmad edits have nothing to do with the guns placement. It has to do with a string ids. Just make sure that the string ids in the bipd for the arms match up with the marker for the arms in the mode.

you could just swap the [jmad] of the rocket with a plasma pistol

yeah, i keep gettin an error, i nearly put all the grunts of all the sp mods into mine just to make that error stop. i even tried putting in an html or the heretic grunt, but STILL it had this error. lemme getta pic. by the way, its ghost_d, and you can also use the creep vehicle's string id's too.
i do click build, do recursive, parsed, and sounds, have a grunt in the map, but...........
could i be that i have entity 1.6? and i need 1.17?

well, im still not understanding. can someone just like give me a mini-tutorial on this, cause i cant find this stuff, man! also, how do i make it for some of the jmads of the grunt and hereitc_grunt that they can have jmads for it, like when you press B, nothing happens from the outside of the grunt. but on paraiso, when you press B, there is. how can i fix the "press B to board" jmad, so that i can actually do that as a grunt?
