Stop turret from moving

i was wondering if there is any way to stop the turret on the warthog from moving as i drive along.

What do you mean by stopping it from moving? Like you drive and it stays behind and floats in mid-air? That'd defeat the purpose of it being an attached turret.

Why would you want to stop somehting as little as that?
