just wanting some personal experience on good programs to use for a first time Halo 2 softmodder.

i will be wanting to do the following with my mods:

change the maps (i have several 3D programs already tho)
change the skins
add/create weapons and vehicles
general basic stuff

please tell me what you would reccomend, there are too many programs in the utilities bit and its confusing me... there should be better sub-forums for each type of tool

yeh, i did check the utlities, i said that in first post, i just want reccomendations on which ones are best

well tht and easiest app released is enity but get diffrent versions some of them are buggy enity can do almost anything any other program can do and more like view the bsp when you think youre ready for a newer program get H2Core and H2Guerilla if you need any help with ftping or any of that stuff contact me on aim yelo is a xbox trainer thattakes screen shots of a few games that is how most people get pics of their mods and urber screenshot tool is needed to save halo 2s raw dumps as a jpeg i think you can saveas another format oh and you cant edit a bsp as of now

i believe so but i think the person with aim must download msn messenger

i have msn but its personal so either you get aim or i make a new account and that is boring so get aim its ok you will need it if you need help with some stuff most modders use aim

well, we shall see... i cant find my Xbox memory card anywhere lol

no what im saying is that all you need to is log on with ur aim account but on msn messenger
