1. How would i make a scarab GUN in cairo station? I mean gun like in metropolis and outskirts.

2. Is there a way to make halo 2 campaign only? I cant find a cd big enough to fit halo 2 on it. I only have 4.7gig dvd-r =(

2. Delete all of the multiplayer maps from the maps folder.

1.) Transfer the Scarab Gun over with Insolence or Entity, then swap it with another weapon, for the sound of the gun, use the Halo 2 Sound Tools.

2.) You need to have a bigger HD on your Xbox, correct me if I am wrong, but I don't believe that there are bigger DVD's that are for sale to the public.

a dvd duel layer? just go down to wallmart and get one.... lol you can get them anywhere blank dvd's are sold. go to staples of office max or something.
duel layer DVD's have 2 layers. which means twice the amount can be recorded onto them, but make sure your computer can write DL DVD's

No, get dual-sided, because only recent DVD burners will burn dual-layer.

Wouldn't dual sided mean that you would have to flip the disk over to play the other content...
And if that is the case I suppose you could make a halo 2 single-player version on one side and a multi-player on the other...

Exactly what I meant.

Just get yourself a dual-sided disk or use two disks: One singleplayer and one multiplayer. OR, you could put it on your HDD.

A bigger hardrive would be worth your money...

3. I dont want to spend more money just to use Yelo...

you said for 1. bring in the whole gun? couldnt he just extract the scarb proj tag, and build with the .info file he saved it as?...i think that might work too either way its simple

Halo 2 will fit on a normal DVD within 4.7gbs with campaign + multiplayer. You might have to remove the BINK files though.

IMO bringing the whole gun would be simpler and quicker. That way you won't have to set ROF and other things in the weapon. Plus, then you'd have a separate weapon instead of taking up a current weapon (though you could duplicate one).

Yes, but you can just ignore it. It won't stop you from playing SP.

this is completely correct. just rip halo 2 from your disk to your pc. DO
NOT delete the bink folder, just delete the files inside of it. make a xiso out of the files that are left. the xiso will be able to fit on a single layer, plain ol' regular dvd then, and you will be able to play campaign or multiplayer without any errors at all. there is no need to get a bigger hard drive, although it makes modding a lot easier and quicker. i have a stock hd on a softmodded box, and a lot of burned dvd's. system works well for me, you just have to learn how to move files in and out to get the space you need at the time.
