Bigger BSP Download Thread *Updated*

Ok, I started a savefile project, but when a file is not downloaded for 30 days it will be deleted. Here is a link to the project - Clicky!

Oh, and btw, if anyone wants to upload a patch, here are the login details.

*UPDATES!
-We need some changes around here because nothing is really being done and so we are going to end up loosing our sticky. So, heres what I have decided. This should be a community project, meaning anyone can do a bsp conversion and submit it here. That will help us fill up the list quickly. Also, the list had alot of errors in it with bsps from other maps, so Im going to redo the list for clarity. However, I still need anyone requesting and anyone posting a converted map, please post exactly like it says to below. Not only does this help speed up the process of adding the map to the list, but it saves me time from having to 1. Get on to you, and 2. Having to make all the changes myself. So, please, post like below.

It's a SPPF(Serenity doesn't like rebuilt maps for me at least...).

It's just the plain conversion; Only thing changed was I moved all the spawns to one spot, just to make sure it would load. Patch Gemini.

In some ways I really like the idea of you doing this to help people. In other ways it worries me, that we're making it too easy for stupid kids who can't be bothered to learn anything like the good 'ole days. Whilst I understand there are those having genuine problems with the apps, there are also those that are just lazy.

i am working on the new mombasa bsp.. give me a minute for me to decompile and such.. but it'll be awile cause uploading takes forever.. :(
ok nvm i guess it just isnt working today... :cry: sorry it wont load in the bsp viewer...

I feel the same way. It makes me think that when you actually do convert it for them it just doesnt seem like they made it themselves

True. I would really hate to see lazy kids ask for bsps when their are few people who truly cannot get this process to work

I need help aswell BUT! I want to make it myself :( I just want a step by step tut I have all the right stuff I just cant view my bsp in entity I can view the collision tho I already read anthonoy's tut and that help for the most part but why can't i view bsp to change my swaps and all that stuff?

Could be the lightmap. Make sure you built the right light map in. Also, use this topic for help regarding H2core.

EDIT: Just saw that the patch I uploaded has been downloaded 3 times so far....who else has downloaded it I wonder...?

It could be the lightmap like spammy said but i have been have the same problem lately and im pretty sure the problem is the .NET framework. If you dont have .NET framework 3.0 you should get it.

You don't need .net 3.0. None of the apps were even made/tested using .net 3.0.
