I think that the other way around would be cooler =p. The armor being the cortana shader, and the elite being normal. But it looks cool that way too.

I plan on having many variations... all I need right now is to figure out how to make it green (can someone say "Matrix"?).
I may do that... have the Elite stay the same and have the MC be normal with Cortana armor...

That came out pretty sick.
I'm thinking about deving into JMAG creation...
Once I finish the Outskirts conversion of course.

"Sick" is definately my choice of description here, too.
I thought it turned out pretty "sick" after all the hard (easy to most of you) work that I put into it (Thank you, Magical_Beans, for showing me how to snag Cortana's shaders).

You know theres a way to make him havehis old normal elite shaders and the cortana ones at the sametime, right?

Really? And how would one go about doing that?
Well, the question is:
Can I change the color?

Actually I only know how to doit with insolence...Go the the HLMT go to dev mode and All dependencies, change the very
last SHAD to the cortana one.
Also to change the color, follow the skinning tutorials on the site.

You can skin shaders?

Shads are made up of multiple bitmaps, stems, and sometimes spas's (I think). So when you edit the bitmaps that are in the shader it edits the shader.

Hmmm... that'll be sweet then...
How do I extract and inject a bitmap linked to a shader, and how to I figure out what bitmaps are linked to a shader?

open your map with enity and go to the shader and open the meta editor and under resources it says all the bitmaps the shader uses and nice elite

Thanks, supermodder!
If I get my Matrx Elite to work, I'll let post it.
