I was wondering if anyone knows all the limits to modding with action replay? I just recently got it to work but I can get any skin mods to work (The game freezes when I go to start it). Please dont tell me things like you can only mod the new maps (I already know that(its obvious)).

I already Soft Modded My X-Box. And you cant mod all the maps, just the ones that are New from the Halo 2 map pack disk or download.

all you can mod with action replay is gametypes... unless you use it to install a softmod then theres no restictions you can mod any map you want

to mod a map, you have to get the map onto your computer , then from there back to your xbox. Which is impossible to do seeing as how an action replay can hold 16mb at the most (Biggest Ive seen) and the average size for a map on halo 2 is 50mb.

Are you asking what you can do with Action Replay saves, or with a softmodded xbox?

With just an action replay, you can do edited gametypes and modded campaign saves (HIH topic of saves - My topic of saves).

With a softmodded xbox, you can do ANYTHING halo2-wise any modded xbox can do.
