HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

ok.. heres the problem..

I successfly ftped my maps from the halo 2 disk to my pc (also the new maps from the hard drive).

I put thm all in the 'original maps' folder, and run the serentity autopatcher that it came with.... then it says "source map does not match the original"..

I didn't mod any of the maps except turf and terminal, turf being one i was gonna get rid of... and termiinal not even nedded for this... but when i click "ok" or whatever it continues, and says the same thing for every map...

so i think nothing of it and ftp the new maps to my halo killtrocity folder in the games folder, i run it everythings fine...

cept when when satrt a game it says "downloaded content corrupted " or whatever.... and goes back to the pregame lobby...

is there anythign i can do to fix this or what the fuck is the problem?

someone pleeeeeeeeeeease help me....

it also should have came with a .xbe update remover use that to change the name of th .xbe and remove the update then it will work

oooooohhh.. it said to use that if i was making an iso... im relly confoozled now...

[EDIT#1]wait a sec.. thats only for the .xbe.. thats not my problem if you knew how to read...

I said that it ran just fine.. the maps don't work though

you missunderstood me...

I got to where i can start a game then when i click start it loads the map.. then goes blank.. then says "mapps corrupted" or something.... i forgot..

but still i don't need to use the update remover.. do i
??????

[EDIT#2] ok i did what you said... will it work if i disable auto update and change the internal name? or would i have to REpatch the original maps?

no itll do fine just patch once

ok.. most of them worked after i did what you said... but a few didn't.... a couple were the turf ones.. so i wouldn't worry bout them.. but one was a waterworks one... it just said failed to load map...

ill redo the whole pocces see if that works..
