is there any way you can turn the SP maps into multiplayer maps and play them as if you were doing co-op?

I was woking on a project about a few months ago on converting ai and all tags to a bsp convert of the bridge level but it failed due to the dreaded broken idents. Meaning ain't happening until its fixed. Once it is I will retry it. however just by me posting this I'm sure some reader has already set their goal on it by now.
