Sound chunk injection...

I've been trying to get a full song (about 3:30 long) to play and loop on Coagulation, but I'm having troubles. I realize that it's impossible to inject sounds that are longer than the originals, and that the snd! tags don't seem to be referenced anywhere, meaning I can't transfer a long sound from another map and then just relink it. (if there's a way to do any of this, please tell me)
So would there be a way to inject chunks to a currently existing sound in order to increase it's length?
For those that don't understand:
That snd! tag has 7 chunks, each are about 10 seconds long. If another chunk were to be injected, couldn't the length be increased by 10 seconds?
This is all just theory, and I don't know much about sounds, but it seems to make sense. (to me, anyway)

Not sure, but I'd love to have music in my maps. I will research more and report any findings.

That map has music playing when you go near a teleporter.
I don't think the teleporter sound is long enough to inject music, so how'd he do it?

Your theory sounds reasonable to me. I dont know how I would go about doing it correctly though. I'll experiment tomorrow on some of my unwanted maps.

Hmm, no, I haven't asked him yet. Maybe I'll do that.
I also remember playing a racetrack that had about 6 different songs in it.

in one of my upcoming mods im going to have the warthogs engine sound play "mosh by eminem. all you need to do is swap the snd! to one that is really long (like the mainmenu music which is 5:17) thats how he did it

The warthog engine would be easy to do, because the sound is referenced in the vehi tag. But how would I change the ambient sounds? (such as wind blowing)
EDIT: I found out the ambience sounds are referenced in the lsnd tags.

Mainmenu is a randomised loop...
I'm pretty sure that there are the single player music sounds that are around 2-3 minutes...
I would recommend getting a shortened song for it to work out well...
