halo 2 disc

do you have to have a halo 2 disc in the xbox to play after youve modded it? because ive read that you copy halo 2 maps to your xbox hard drive and it would seem like you could just play the game straight off your xbox

if u have put it on your HD then yes u can play it straight off the HD without haveing to use the disk

Make sure you copy the correct files to your HDD though.
Your directory should look something like this:
-Halo 2
--maps
---fonts
shared.map
single_player_shared.map
mainmenu.map
etc.
--media
default.exb

media isnt required

make sure you put it in the e: or f: drive (depending on how your partitions are set up...
