what are soft mods how do you get them what is a haed mod what is the diff sry im new at modding i dont want to use a modding chip is that possible?

hard modded is when you got a mod chip in your xbox like mine, its not a mod as what your thinking, soft moded xbox's are cheaper i think, im not to sure what they are thou....

lol thx but that kinda helps i wanna mod a 360 (hard i see) but ill trying to find a way without useing chip

there r 2 ways to mod on a 360 without a modchip
1. a sata device so u can mod old maps u hook it to your hdd
2. flash firmware so the xbox can play cd/dvds and take the maps make an iso and put on xbox

umm sorry i didnt catch that... umm can you slow it down to noob talk who have no experience well some in modding and my friend did it with disk and i want to learn how
