I've been trying to put the halo pistol in halo 2 but when i do it it disappears when u get close to it. Is there any tuts for how to fix this or how to start from scratch. thx

why not just start with the halo 2 magnum, adjust its ROF, make it semi auto give it a 2X zoom and reskin it?

Halo 1 pistol was automatic.

Yeah, you got it backwards, the Halo 1 pistol was fully-auto and the magnum was semi.

i can never tell the difference between semi auto and fully auto.

open halo 1 in entity (xbox) and extract the model then inject the model into halo 2

A semi auto is as fast as you can squeeze the trigger the gun will fire and a full auto is were u hold down the trigger and the gun fires rapidly.

umm try the model in H2CE if you cant get it to work, the pistol is in there so u can use it and put it in ur mod

Just remodel it, reskin it and put it in. Can't be that time consuming.

i just downloaded gmax and im having trouble cause i dont no how to import the model and i dont no how to use it at all but i would like to learn how
