Does anyone know of a cache editor program for halo 2?
Ive managed to find one for Halo 1 which is cool, but can anyone tell me where to find one for halo 2? Just an easy tool to fool around with in halo 2.
Thanks for any help given!

Halo 2 doesn't use that extensive of a cache system so it is not possible just to cache edit.

Bitmaps (skins) is what the cache is primarily used for. When you load any Halo 2 map, the shared.map is copied to the cache(if it isn't already there). When its put in the cache, it's renamed to cache000.map. Every time you load a MP map that uses a skin from the shared.map (the warthog for example) it loads it from the cache. A simple way to "edit the cache" with skins is inject the new skins into the shared.map, FTP the shared.map to the XBOX and clear the xbox cache(X, Y, Z), then load a halo 2 map. Your NEW shared.map is then opied to your cache. If you injected a new warthog skin into the shared.map then every level you load, Campain or MP, the warthogs will have the skin.

You want a tool for changing bitmaps?
Or you want a tool for editing the cache?
Nothing exists for the later. You do just as demonicsandwich said. Just edit the bitmaps in shared and then all the bitmaps will change that are loaded from shared.map.
If you want to edit bitmaps for a certain map only but the bitmap is loaded from shared you must internalize the bitmap. There is a tool for that.
