"ammo box"

ive tryed to make one but it didnt work. i want to make a box so that when ur within the bounding radius ur guna reload "if there in the box". i tryed duplicating a weapon and givin it the hlmt of a box but you can walk through it, u dont pick up ammo, and it moves if u hit it. any ideas?

I think the weapon ammo boxes are scripted in the bitmask. Ask turk, he might know how to do this.

if you want to make a box of ammo, dup an [equip] tag then change the dependancy in the magazine intereflexive of the [weap] tag of your chose

ok so i duplicated an equip but i cant find where to change wat the ammo is for.

first thing i tryed to do was duplicate a weapon and make it so u cant pick it up and gave it multiple equipments but u dont pick up any ammo or anything

Sounds kind as if he wants some kind of field of reload. Maybe like a king of the hill type thing but once you enter this area you reload your weapon. Which i don't think is possible at this point. IF i'm wrong, then please ignore my post but that's what i've gotten from it.

i just read it again and i think i understand, you want an ammo crate which doesnt run out of ammo and holds ammo for more than 1 type of weapon yes?

yea like how if u have a weapon and u see the same weapon on the floor u pick up more ammo. i want it to be a crate instead and have more then one type of ammo

try making a new equip, then add a chunk to the magazine interreflexive of each weapon you want to use your ammo crate that should make anyweapon be able to use the crate

when i look at the [eqip] tags, theres nuthin that says which gun if effects or anything like that. i already tryed duplicating the magazine of a weap and it wont pick up any of the ammo's of the chucks i set. even if i duplicate a weapon and the ammo is still set to the original weapon, i wont pick up the ammo for the original weapon


Edit: ok nm i understand wat u meant, but when i try to duplicate the magazine intereflives for the sniper rifle and the magnum for some reason, idents get broken and it messes up. its only those 2 and it happens everytime.


Edit: excuse me i mean idents start breakin when i start duplicatin magazine intereflexives
