HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I starting using mimesis 3 today, but when i download and install mas to halo 2 it says the files are corrupted and they dont show up, then mimesis says that they are active but that i dont have any downloads...do i need the default.1.1xbe, the 1.1 update, or what? If so where am i supposed to get the 1.1 update without going on xbox live?

I know the Halo multiplayer map pack has the v1.1 patch on it, so that takes care of that if you do need to patch your version.
