for some reason the ai in maps wont spawn for example the ai war map on containment. i have the yelo trainer installed as well as the xored mini launcher, what am i doing wrong. also i hit enable mp ai and they still wont spawn.

Do you use the yelo function to disable the autoupdate?

if i disable the autoupdate, then i cant use the new maps or foundation for some reason why is this?

because the 1.0 default didn't have the abilty to load new maps in the tdata folder. You have to follow a tutorial to add the new map to the main menu.

where can i find the tutorial to do this

Look for disabling autoupdate

ok i know how to add maps to the mainmenu but it wont let me load them when i turn off the autoupdate to enable the ai into the maps how can i load the new maps with the autoupdate off?

You can't. Just add the maps to the MM, the ones with AI, and disable the AU to play them. You don't need the AU on to play the AI mods.

but the new maps with the ai dont work if you turn the autoupdate off and if i leave it on they dont spaws what do i do?

Huh what do you mean? If you add the new map to the main menu you can choose the map without having the AutoUpdate on. So i don't know what you mean. O yeah and make sure the new map is put in E:games/halo 2/maps folder or else it'll fail.

i have been trying to figure this out as well.

1) If i use yelo trainer to disable auto update halo 2 wont load

2) if i turn on auto update halo 2 loads but no AI

I have another Halo 2 trainer on my xbox. I used to use that one and it sort of likes that one...should i try deleting that one and seeing it it works?

p.s.- not many people on halomods today is there Also there is no tutorial on disabling the auto update on that link buddy.

When you say the new maps won't work do you mean they won't load, as in it says you failed to load the map?

no what i mean is the maps will load with the autoupdate on but no ai. if i turn it off the either dont show up from the t data or they wont load if i put them in the mainmenu maps (the maps not in t data)
