foreign sounds

I'm a little behind here but do we have the capability to inject foreign sounds and/or songs into the multiplayer as long as it is the same length as the original sound?For example I don't want the sound of a goast engine when I'm driving the goast,I want an awsome song playing

All the sounds in Halo are looped. This means the actual files are only a few seconds long. You can inject a sound over those files, but your song would just play for three or four seconds and then start over.

What?!!no way...I'v been reading this book and acording to it there are diffrent sound tag types.One that loops and one that playes only once.I believe it's tag was SND/Sound in the ADI program.Is this right?And if so can't you swap the loop sound dependancy for one that dosn't loop then add the song of your choice?

Probably, but it would be pointless, because the song would then have to be the same size(if larger, it will be shortened) to the length of the sound clip. So probably around 1-2 seconds

so then the goast thing wouldn't work.(playing the song when I get on stop when I get off).well is it possible that when I mod a map Can I inject a song playlist onto the map so that when it loads up the songs starts automaticly untill the game ends?

Hmmm, perhaps an unknown in the sound tag says the amount of time and can be changed?
