HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

i can't find a questions forums so...

i have installed a softmod and i tried to ftp to my xbox with the given ip address when i go utils>settings
but what it does it changes my default gateway off of 192.168.2.1 which is my router address and changes my xbox ip off of 192.168.2.37 so i cannot connect to my xbox. I have tried going back into the main settings on my menu and changing it all back but it still automaticly changes it back to what it was before so it still will not work...please help..

you need to change your ip from static to dhcp, its in the network menu under your ip number

do i change it in my router or on the xbox
