have search but nothing, not have undertand how stop the pelican and phantom flipping around when inject in mp map

about pelican have read somethink about an [mach] swap!?

please help me

Wait you mean swapping it for a mach in the mach pallette, right? Whenever I try it doesn't show up..

no spawn a mach thru the itmc (or a gun)and put the peli ontop of it

What he's saying is that if you spawn a pelican so it lands on a mach, it won't tumble.

ah I get it, thats wierd. Has anyone tryed to fix this? So it can land on BSP?

No Elite wasen't very close...

Basically both the pelican and phantom lack vehicle shaped bsp collison. Since bungie knew that there woulden't be anyone seeing them on the ground it would be a wast of time to actually put in a proper bsp collison. However it does have a bsp collison but it is just a minor sphere shaped collison in its center/point of mass. However it does contain a proper biped/mach collison. Thats why you can get by it and it can land on machs. Since I have been getting questions abuout the pelican hereon the forums and through aimg *cough *S3anyBoy*cough* I think I am gonna work on a few Secret things, not nessicarly OPP.

in the end only way to stop pelican and phantom to flip is add an mach in the map and spawn the vehicles over that?

but if in some way we add a mach under the pelican model? have try to swap the rear gun with [mach] main_crasher but the map freeze

no you dont swap the peli gun with a mach swap a wepon on the map with a mach and spawn the vehis on top of it

It's been tried: adding things to the bottom of the pelican or phantom to give it proper bsp collision. Unfortunately objects added as turrets do not bring their phmo with them. Coll (bullet collision) yes, but not phmo.

Someone REALLY ambitious should make a coag mod where there are machs stuck just below the ground all over the map, so that the pelicans have something to rest on.
