Do you have singleplayer-shared and shared.map on your hd?

nope i forgot that. should i just delete the game of the hd and put h2 in the disk tray and go to the d folder and copy the maps? what else do i need besides the maps? do i need font and the other folders outside of the map folder and the files suchas default.xb?

You need fonts, the media folder and shared.map and singleplayershared.map you don't need to delete the game on the hard drive just add the stuff your missing.

you need every folder, with all its contents, except the bink where you need the folder but not your files in it. and you can leave out the single player maps

This topic is quite confnusing

.
You do
Not need the single player shared. It just takes up space if you don't have the singleplayer maps on the hard drive.
Now for a Stock hard drive I would suggest Not ftping any singleplayer maps or singplayershared.map . It will save you alot of space. Make sure you do transfer shared.map and all of the multiplayer maps.
Good Luck!.

The Stock drive can handle the entire game, because the game is only 4GB and after transfering the entire game there is still around 300MB left on the E Partition.

Agreed. I did it in about 5 minutes or less awhile ago. I used my sisters computer =]. Didn't want to wreck mine by accident.
But if you have no plans of upgrading your hard drive . Do Not transfer any single player related stuff.
Good Luck.

Basically you open the box up and take the stock drive out and put a bigger one in. Just go to
www.xbox-scene.com they have tuts.
