second ghost with new skin

hi
have add new ghost in coagulation, now have some problem to add new skin.
for new ghost have duplicate:
[vehi]
[hlmt]
[bitm] objects\vehicles\ghost\bitmaps\ghost
before mod the new skin have internalized the [bitm] and with entity have swap the new skin with entity in [vehi] ghost--> dispaly idents, but nothing change. yes have delete temp files

I've done this before, only with a warthog (I have duplicated a warthog, spawned it, and gave it a different skin than the other warthogs).
Ok, to give the duplicated ghost a different skin than the other ghosts, you would need to duplicate the ghosts hlmt, mode, shader, and bitmap.
So, it would be like this:
[vehi]
[hlmt]
[mode]
[shader]
[bitmap]

I think I said this already, but Entity has a recurisvly Duplicate feature.

k my friends this is what ya do. Dupe your ghost.vehi, ghost.hlmt, ghost.mode and ghost_metal.shad. Then if ya want a brand new skin then inject it into your map that you are working with. Assign ghost.hlmt to ghost.vehi and assign ghost.mode to the hlmt. then go to your mode and assign the new shader. then go to the shader and swap out the ghost bitmap with the new bitmap that has your new skin. Simple as making a wedding cake...hmmm

actually if we can find out a little more about the shader tag it will be possable to just add a few chunks to make it variation based bitm change.

i known recurisvly duplicate, but after duplication im need to know what exactly must re-link
have try but only some change can see:
duplicated
[vehi]
[hlmt]
[mode]
[bitm] only objects\vehicles\ghost\bitmaps\ghost (and internalized)
[shad] only objects\vehicles\ghost\shaders\ghost_metal
re-link all (hope), inject over duplicated [bitm] my new skin.
now the ghost have new skins only in some little parts!! (see img below)
if someone want search my error directly over my mod download it from
here[/img] (have swap new ghost with sniper)

im sorry i cant help you with your dillema...but it sounds like you have all the help you need...i was just wondering what the chances of you posting that sick ghost skin in the downloads section on the file forums?? I love it!
