Non-existent Masterchief?

I was in a xbc server the other day and these two guys made their character's... invisible. All that you could see was a floating gun and the nades they threw. Their guns could fire and kill you but you could in no way affect thoes damn floating guns! Needles to say I want to know, "How you do this!?!1?"

Yeah, don't ask. Something like that will only lead you down the road of being banned from Halomods.
If you really want to know, just figure it out yourself, because I don't think anyone here would tell you...

First of all, this is a really cool trick to show off to friends. Those guys were putting on a show for us. I see no way how this could be used as "cheating" to come out to a benefit for the person using it. I consider cheating to be an increase of autoaim or increase in damage resistance, something that's not obvious.
Secondly, I tried it, but couldn't figure it out so I thought I could go for some help. And that's exactly why I'm here. So if you can't help me then go ahead and shut the hell up.

They probably duplicated the master chief biped so there were two bipeds in the game. Let's say you were on the red team. There would be a biped for red team, and a biped for blue team. Red team's biped stayed the same, and they modded only the blue team's biped. They probably swapped all the biped bitmaps with transparent bitmaps, and nulled out the biped's collision model. Therefore, you couldn't see them or hurt them. Yet people on the red team were normal master chief models.

Thank you for the response, I think I get it. But what program would you use to null out collisions? I have a lot of apps due to H2MC But I cant affect collisions under the collisions tag.
