Drivable Uberchasis.

Does anyone know of a tut to make the uberchasis dravible, I've tryed but just ended up with some that wasn't like a vehicle at all, or could you explain how to make it drivable that would be awesome. and I've done alot of searching.

First, break off the uber's wheels in the mode tag by removing them as children bones.
Second, either make the uber into the warthog horn's hlmt, or swap the hog's turret with the uber's bloc. If you do the horn hlmt way, you'll need to reposition the uber by moving the bounding box. If you go the turret way (which is better, by the way) you'll need to move the turret marker until you've got it where you like it. You'll also want to resize the uberchassis model, since it's not big enough to cover all four hog wheels.
Third, open the hog's model and null all the shaders that don't say tire in them. Swap the tire shaders for the uber's tire shader.

Cool. But will it have the collision of the uberchasis? But you could always give it another collision, can't you?

also its is in the $$40$$ DotHalo tuts.
It has to do with skining the setinal beam to look like an ubrchasis.(non modders can see setinal beam skins.
Wait what is an ubberchasis
I think driving a fusion coil would be great

tha uber chasis is that car on terminal and in newmombasa, and its a pimp ride and it doesn't have bones for the wheels and I should have checked your tuts before I posted, snaku.

the setinal beam thing is a classic because non modders can see it too

I really don't care if nonmodders can see my mods, becuase even if I did a swap with the sentenil beam non modders wouldn't be able to see it becuase its in coag

No, they'd still be able to see it. it doesn't make a difference if it's in Caogualtion or not.

No they wouldn't, the uber chasiss isn't in coag by defualt, I put it in. But anyway, does duplicating models work becuase I duped the hog model and now my map loads to a black screen, but If I don't spawn my custom hog it doesn't lock, so is there anyway build a working uber chasiss without dystroying the hog?

no dude non modders can see if u skin a setinal beam. U can make the setinal beam any thing u want and they can still see it

ah I don't think if I've imported something then used that to skin it. Anyways I'll test it.

It doesn't have bones for the wheels? Then I guess you null the wheels' shader off the uber.
There shouldn't be any reason a duplicated hog model wouldn't spawn. I've done it before and can't think of anything that would mess it up. Perhaps it's the way you're spawning it?

ah I don't think there would be anything wrong with cloning an vehc then using that, I did the same thing to spawn the shadow. But also I tried to shoot it out of a weapon an it locked up once I pulled the trigger, I'll have to look what I did over and maybe try again.
