solid objects

** sry if this is on here twice, my net explorer closed as i hit post topic and i dont kno if it came up. i looked for my other one but i didnt see it. so sry again**

how do i make the boss platform solid on containment? like no people or bullets go through it.

the mach has no collision so you will have to do a bsp conversion

That platform your trying to spawn never has collison for it because it was used in a scene before the last battle, but the one you fight on is part of the bsp and is solid.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but there is no way at the moment you can give the platform collision. The bsp has the platfrom built into it where you fight Tarterus.

ok so i go to delta controll click sbsp and then drag over the one that ends in bsp4? i checked bsp 4, it is the one with the platform in it and the rest of the room. if i do that will it spawn it?

no what i meant to say was that the bsp of the map has the platform as part of the map. That means it's part of the lvl itself. You can't just extract it like that.

it won't have collision so no until someone knows how to add collision to it.

When someone figures that out, I may quit halo modding due to the fact everyone will have custom BSPs and I'm too lazy to do that :D

no I don't know exactly what your thinking but its not gonna work, 1 if your thinking of taking something elses collision, it won't work because it won't match the model. If your thinking of taking the mach collisioin in the BSP, well BSP and Collsion and phmo are not related, in fact they are not even the same spieces :D

ok so i put the walk way in, in its place and as soon as i look at it it closes so what entity should i be useing? i have alpha one right now.

use the lastest if you have no technical problems with it.
