AI in multiplayer on Halo2

My friends and I have always wondered if it was possible to put the Flood (i.e., Infection Forms) in MP, then allow them to have an AI also. It wouldn't matter what they did as much as the fact that they moved and attacked. I was curious if this was possible yet? I've read several tutorials that say it isn't yet possible, but I don't know if they are outdated or not.
If you have a link to a tut or any help please post it here! Thanks.

not acactly, the scripts we have are different from the one's that make up the styl type scripts,if you looked at the tut you'll notice there's not many commands. But i think we can give something some ai, sorta, but it would be stupid, not like the real ai.

Ai in Mp is perfectly possible... Its just very complex. A main reason why people aren't getting ai in mp is because there is a ai block in the xbe. The other reason is because scripting is needed to spawn them, and scripting just got unlocked a few weeks ago. There is also the thing that Trulife said about the ai and how on Singleplayer maps they are given a map of the bsp and think of it as a playground. We would have to do that correctly and that is why the Mp - Sp ai thing dosen't really work right. Its becuase the ai don't know the bsp so they sit there.
Brok3n Halo is working on ai in mp and almost have it working properly =\. Its just a waiting game for the rest of us though.

Yes it would. Backwash is based of the level 343 Guilty Spark from Halo 1.

well broken halo sure seems to be doing their shair of work, but i much rather things as a community project then a group project. But so far the things i hope they come out with is custom coll, jmad, and ai in mp, and of course then script compiler/injector. But It might be fun to do all that stuff for ai, and like trulife showed up, setting up all these place for ai to do their thang is cool. And once again i forget where im going with this.

Well then if we would do a bsp conversion from sp to mp then somehow get the ai into the map could we use scripting to spawn them would they actually be able to move since they would recognize the BSP

Wow all these replies for such a small question.
Scripting... the whole thing confuses me. Then again I'm not an experienced modder, (all I use is DotHalo, Insolence, and Entity usually) can someone explain to me how it works... and a link to that tutorial you mentioned would be nice. Thank you all!
