Could someone please post a like to a web page with a very in-depth tutorial on editting with dot halo or entity?

I'm actually working on a tutorial that workd with Insolence and Entity that is very in depth and i'll be posting it here in a Month (hopefully). But you can try this for now:

I know. But I'm making a much better Guide to Halo 2 Modding, more in depth, that will cover more things and these Halo 2 mods (and more):

1-Super Jump and Super Speed
2-Infinite Ammo and No Overheat
3-Change Weapon Projectiles
4-Add Secondary Weapon Fire
5-BSP Conversions
6-Pelican in Multiplayer
7-Shadow in Multiplayer
8-Play as Arbiter
9-Play as Heretic Elite
10-Play as Marine
11-Changing Spawns (all spawns! Player and object)

about the infinite ammo and no overheat one
i know u can get no overheat when u r not host but what about infinite ammo. I have seen it done. i have a vid of it i'll post it later it shows guy who is not host with a full auto carbine

Yeah, you can. If you make a modded map (say Coagulation) so you have inf. ammo/no overheat, then put that on your Xbox, then join a game (where you're not the host) on Coagulation, you will have inf. ammo and no overheat. I'm pretty sure it work, you have to try it.

I have tried the recharge ammo mod before and it only worked when I hosted. you can however change how many bullets per shot that you fire. Also I have imported the pelican into coagulation and it works ok but I need to put it on a flat surface to make it stop spinning. If you could add to the pelican in multiplayer tutorial how to move objects around (like changing spawn points) that would be very helpful in my oppinion. That is what I am trying to figure out right now.

To fix system link you open up your map in a newer version of entity (I use 1.3.9). Go to map tools at the top of the screen and hit fix system link and then you're done

Nope. Meta faking is not that good of a way to do it.it's actually just duplicating weapons and swapping meta offsets for them, its doesnt allow you to actually add more system link tags if I understand it correctly, it just allows you to use duplicated ones in place of other tags. Entity does allow you to have more system link breakers in your map because it adds references, instead of just changing them.
