need help with serenity

i open serenity version 3.2 and then i open the patch and when i hit apply it says serenity has encountered a problem and need to close. why does it say this, could someone plz help.

You don't just open the patch, you have to open the maps to apply the patch to and stuff. And can you have to be more specific about this error. Also, make sure you open clean (unmodded) maps, and make sure you have the right patch. Try using a different Serenity maby.

im trying to do the mainmenu one and i open the mainmenu.map then i click apply and it says error

Is your mainmenu that you're trying to apply it to brand new fresh off the disk?
