k one of my friends knows how to mod xboxes with out or with the chip.
So I asked him can you mod my xbox with out the chip. He said yes...
I havent had him do it yet. But my question is can you still mod maps with out having the chip. Can you mod maps with a download modding program if I get the download I can put mooded maps made by other people. But can I mod my own maps?????

Explain to me the benefits with having the chip and not having it
Tell me what kind of stuff can i do with just the download not the chip in the xbox

A Softmodded Xbox can do almost all the things a chipped Xbox can do. If you want more info go to Xbox-Scene.

just a quick notte of warninng.... if your going to Softmod.... DONT unlock your HDD... it will cause it to be unuseable.

Hardmods and Softmods pretty have all the same features.. So yes you will be able to mod halo2.
