I imported the cairo train to terminal(very glitchy)PICS!

I imported it sucsesfully but its really glitchy. It only comes out of one side of the level. Then its doors are closed! so you cant get in. Last but most important glitch it diapears after a little like incline in the rail.

I figured out why the other train wouldnt show up, it was going not towards the map but actually exiting it.

i think i know why its dissapearing..... its going too slow... i have been working on a train mod... and it seems that the train dissapears after a ceartian amount of time of being visable... so if you want it to dissapear later... speed it up.

wich is what me and ben have been working verry hard on, it sems that the train is Forced to dossapear, when the new train spawns... from what we can see, its scripted.... if you find out how to change this... it might help with my train project.

because, when you do the Host Leaves Glitch, both trains will spawn, but they still only stay on map for the Same amount of time before they dissapearr, wich to me points out a "life time" but i also noticed that, the absolute second the train dissapears, a new one spawns, wich points out to me that the "New Train Spawning" is causing the other trrain to dissapear.

wich to me = some kind of script, as me and ben have screwed around with every value in the trains MACH, with interesting effects, but nothing that makes it stay around longer.

dazzajay Do you know where the trains path is preset? Also Ill look into some metas that are unknown. Then I figured the doors are a seperate mach and you need to make them have the same trayectory as the train and make them spawn the same etc. Or I could import the whole cairo train mach, then there is an unknown box that says follows a path or trajectory. dazzajay we should work together on this.

edit in entitys bsp viewer I noticed one side of the tram there are no doors.

The train spawning doesn't have to be a script. it could just be coordination of the spawning. maybe they set disappear times the same as appear times, if you get what I mean.

take a look at the jmad and see if you can force the door to stay open that way.

as far as i could see, with the orignal train, if i moved its spawn point to the other track, it would follow the other track, when i moved the train in bettween the tracks, it would follow in between both tracks, so the path it follows is not connected to the tracks it sits on, but as for knowing what it auctually runs on, as in, what tells it where to turn, and so on, i havent found yet....
