Shakey mach platform

Shakey mach platform

So I'm messing around a bit with machs and I liked how the main_crusher from waterworks moves, and when it does it makes your controller rumble if you're near it. So I thought it'd be cool to use it for a platform in my map. Turns out it doesn't have any collision in the middle part (and it'd be a boring platform as is even if it did) so I swapped it's hlmt with another mach. Problem is, when I did that it moved at the same intervals as the crusher, but the direction of the move was that of the new mach.
So I figured it had to do with the jmad, so I swapped the jmad back to the main_crusher's. Now it just floats in the air without moving. I know very little about jmad editing/swapping, so I don't know how to proceed from here.
The final goal is to have a platform that just sits there and shakes like crazy. I figure I could lower the transition time of the mach and all that to acheive this but first I need to get it moving the right way. Any suggestions?

Get a fresh Map and re-mod it.

the jmad stuff i can prob help a bit with...

but idd need to take a look at the mach :?

I've had another thought. I could simply put the crusher under the platform and speed it up, since the rumble is a localized effect around the crusher. That way, when on or near the platform you'd get the rumble effect.
Now, is it possible, maybe, to increase the rumble effect? Like, I want that area to be kind of crazy and intense to be around. There's gonna' be .....some other stuff going on that relates to the rumbling and I want it to be kind of hectic there. Get in, grab the .....thing... and get out as quickly as possible.

[edit] So I messed around with the timing on the mach and managed to get it so that it barely moves (drops a tiny bit then comes right back up). The wierd thing is that the shakey effect happens slightly after that. Like it happens at the time the mach would've reached the bottom of it's drop. So it would seem that it's something that could be manipulated independently if I could find exactly what and where it is. Once again, turning to the community for help. Any ideas?
[edit 2] Figured it out. In the jmad for the crusher there was an effe and in that effe there was a jpt. So I tried adding a jpt into another effe (I chose the rocket_explosion\liquid effe since I'm already working on it and adding to it was easy). I gave it the banshee bomb explosion jpt and it worked great. Only problem is that it was rythmic, in time with the splash effe, instead of continuous, but if I can get the interreflexive added to the a fire effe, I bet I could make it continuous.
