ok, i feel like the biggest n0b having to ask about a proj swap..... but how do i swap any proj with the soda machine on headlong, ive done it before, i just cant remember how, ive tried 3 different ideas all resulting in a crash... i just cant remember the correct way to do it.

bloc? im trying to swap it with a Mode.... Vending machine.mode.... is that what im doing wrong?

...you can't shoot a model out. A model isn't even an object; engine can't handle it, so, capooey, crashes. That's DEFINITELY what you were doing wrong.

bah, i am retarded, i used to change proj to mode in halo 1....... it works now ive changed the bloc

yeah, it is, but now i need an idea on fixing something.... when you spawn a LOT of soda machines, wierd stuff hapens, like say you have 55 soda machines on the ground, and the next one is placed on top, so it cant touch the ground, it will dissapear if it cant find the ground, and for what im planning, i need to pile a LOT of them, is there a way to stop them from dissapearing?

No; that's happening because of overloading. Same thing happens when you try to collect all of the fusion cores on, say, Waterworks, and put them into one pile. Eventually one or two disappear.

i dont mean it like that, it can happen with only 4 soda machines... and ive got a LOT more than 3 on headlong before, the only way i can force it to happen is when i try to put many soda machines ontop of eachother in a pile,
like, i can have so many sodamachines on the level it will cause extreme lag, they dont even dissapear then, the only time they start dissapeearing, is when i try to stack them ontop of eachother.....

the first half of the vid shows about 15 sodamachines in a small area dissapearing, in the second half, i went on a rampage ald left soda machines everywhere to see if i could get the game to lag, (if your wondering where the hanging beam and the panel are... thhey dissapeard before i got half that amount of soda machines out... they only dissapear when thier stacked... is there a way to disable that annoying dissapear shit? otherwise i will have to think of a new way to put a couppla hundred sodamachines flattening somone in the next vid of totally random.

I Agree.. This has happened to me before, something so simple, but you just cant rember lol :D

so, anyone figure out why the soda machines dont like to stack?

That still seems to me like object overloading :D. It's part of the game engine, I'm pretty sure, and it's not something you can change. No doubt I'll get pwned five ways sideways in a day or two when somebody finds it in a scnr meta property...

why do you want falling soda machines? Any way if you want falling soda machines just do what i did for the bus, set the spawn of the projectile higher and have it fall. It's funny when you set it too high and it falls on someone and kills them.

that is baisicly whats gonna happen, (its for the next ep of my series)
picture a dude walking sown the street, and theen lots of soda machines fall from the sky.... flattening him.... i would add more bit it gives away most of the storyline.
