To get mods on your Xbox, you FTP.

do you even the maps on your computer you are going to mod? If so they will be .map files and you put them back on the same way you got them (FTP)

get a ftp client like Filezilla (use google) and if your using XBMC or Evox or any kind of dashboard really, it will have a FTP address in it's settings, like mine is ftp://192.168.0.5 (yours will be something like that, but 99% chance that it will be different to that) and the default username / password for most xbox's is[ Username: xbox ][ Password: xbox ]
all you have to do is login and the rest is self explanitary.

the more this thread progresses, the more it seems like it should be at http://www.xbox-scene.com

Hi Before you get redirected to xbox-scene I would just like to try and help you out here.

I am assuming you have a modchip or softmod. right? otherwise check xbox-scene .

Now if you Do have a modded xbox by softmod or modchip, read on.

Most people find ftp a problem, I never really have many problems with it at.

If you want the simpelest straight out answer on how to ftp, open up and folder, lets just use my documents, have your xbox turned on at your modded dash. Somewhere on your modded dash it should say IP:192.168.X.X Well I put those to X's to show were the variatioin of ips go around xbox's. My xbox ip was orignally changed from 192.168.0.3 but when I changed to a modchip it went to 192.168.0.7 .

Your ip could really be anything, it might be 192.168.1.12 you never know.

But one your xbox modded dash it should say something like this, (I am using my xbox for example) Ip: 192.168.0.7 .

So I would open a folder on your computer that you want to ftp to your xbox with and in the address bar you would want to type, ftp://xbox:[email protected] and then it should find your xbox and you can navigate through the directorys.

and xbox:xbox stands for the user name and password to acess your xbox.

Good luck hope this helped!
