Containment.dds?

I have the multiplayer maps in stalled on my box from the disk. I was wondering how I would get the pic that shows up for the level from the files. I have a modded map that I would like to use the Containment pic for. As well as the Turf pic. Is it in the .lvl file? And how to I get it?

Open the map up in your favorite Halo 2 texture extracting program and browse to "ui\global_bitmaps\map_shots".. There you'll find the texture. For example, in containment the path to it's map shot is "ui\global_bitmaps\map_shots\map_mp_containment".
Yes, its also in the lvl.. but I believe a few unused pixels are cropped off.

Thanx a lot! That solved my problem. And I also found some pics for modded maps in the maps and used them instead of the crappy ones I had. lol.
