You go to E:\TDATA\4d530064 (I think--I already deleted mine, so I can't remember for sure if that was the right one) and delete the 1.1 patch there. This will also make it impossible to load the new maps, however, so you'll have to add them into your regular maps folder and add them to mainmenu.map. Or, you can just download the ap on xbins for switching between 1.0 and 1.1

this is what i do i got to tdata go to the folder go to $U and rename the default.xbe to like defaultk.xbe and put in the default.xbe from the disc in and its fine and one i want to play on live i just delete the default.xbe and rename the other one and there is no need to delete the patch because you well have to redownload it again
i had the same problem as you i have 1.1 and my cousin said to do the above and it worked like a charm
there's a 1.0 i bought the game the day it came out and i have 1.1
