I'm not sure if this is waht you meant by swapping the meta but, you need to import the sky with insolence. Then open containment in like adi dothalo etc... and go to the scenarios tag and change the sky to backwashes. Then (if thats what you already did or if you do it now and its still to bright) try lowering the maps lightmap percentage to get rid of the glare.

No to get the sky in you need to go to the scenarios tag and click the sky one and change the dependency to the new backwash dependency.

To change the lightmap% you need to download the Lightmaplib for ADI and put it into the lib folder then add Lightmaplib to the lib list in the same folder.

Then open ADI and go to the bitmaps tag not the ltmp it has to be in the bitmaps tag. Then go to scenarios\whatever map \lightmap\maps name again. Click the new little lightbulb icon in the bottom right corner of ADI and then it should show you a new editor where you change the pecentage of the lightmap and hit apply.

EDIT:If you can't find the lightmaplib.dll then go Here and go to the downloads section, register and download from the Halo2 downloads.
