could some1 make... (read b4 posting)

can someone mak a basic app for VB6 that just opens a map and has a simple example of how 2 edit it
ive been trying the tutorials in the script/programming forum but none of them seem 2 work so a basic sample app would b great if some1 could make 1 i think many people would find it useful (not just me) and it would incourage real apps 2 b made and not copys of apps or app organisers
p.s. i would hav posted this in the script/programming forum but i dont think thats looked at very often

well vb6 is getting old and is not as fast as Vb.net i am already working on a really good tutorial for loading the maps and it should be done soon
and as you said you posted in scripting and programing and here becase nobody looks at that forum
well your wrong the peolpe that know how to program look there and their the ones that your asking help form

Vb.net isn't a whole lot faster than vb...vb in general is quite possibly one of the worst languages to code in.

well vb is the only coed i now how 2 use at the mo but if some1 wanted 2 point me in the direction of a C/C++ tut & complier that would b great as well

EDIT: is that libhalo thing a open source C++ halo 2 editor if it is can u tell me wen uve uploaded the files if not i still need a basic program 2 learn from

Well, it's written in C, because VB is for noobs, and I hate learning new things. (.Net programming for instance... although C# is pretty straight forward...)
Anyway I uploaded an alpha, just be sure to read the readme...
