I have been modding about a week and learned on my own by reading on these very forums, but I can't seem to find how to make some of the maps work. I havn't go a chance to get to the maps on my disk new now on my xbox! Some of the old maps are not working.

Step by Step

1st- Get map and apply patch
2nd- Fix encription
3rd- Ftp it on xbox

My theriy is that if the map takes up more space than before it will not work.
If i am correct tell me how to fix it.
If I am not tell me what I am doing wrong!

Thanks for the people who help!

(-spelling errors minimum-)
{I think}

I also followed the tuts and they still didn't work. I need help!

But it is all the patches here at halo mods. Halo mods needs to clean up I think, so much spam and hard to find mods for the new mas because of xbl cheater. I have a 360 and a XBox so why no mod it but all map are not working. Could the file size have anything to do with it!

If you're trying to mod the new maps, you have to use a different encryption thing than the other maps...

Yeah I know. I do it all but the maps just won't load.

It will only load if there has been no change in file size. for me.
IF it is bigger or smaller it won't load. How do I fix

... What patch are you trying to do, and with what program? Patching a map filre should NEVER make it larger unless something was added to the map... if it's a .ppf use ppfomatic, if it's a .serenity... Use that program.

Not sure what to tell you other than you're doing something wrong... You're patching a clean map each time right? And telling it to put the new map in a different place that the origional is right?
